The brief
Hapka AI is a calorie tracker: photograph your plate and get the calories, macros and every ingredient. The site had to explain the product in seconds, rank on Google in both Bulgarian and English, and send visitors straight to the App Store and Google Play.
What we did
- A bilingual site. Bulgarian by default and English under /en/, built from shared templates so both versions always match, with hreflang linking every page to its translation.
- Structured data. MobileApplication with price and free trial, FAQPage and Organization, so Google can show the app with richer results.
- Pages that answer real searches. Features, FAQ, support, account deletion, and a press page with facts, logo and screenshots.
- Privacy by default. Ad pixels load only after explicit consent, and with none configured the site shows no cookie banner at all.
- The app itself. Native apps in SwiftUI for iPhone and Jetpack Compose for Android, on a NestJS API. The AI identifies the ingredients; calories come from a real food database rather than a guess.
